- The first Korean to major in harmonica at a university (Kyunghee Univ.)

- Winner of the Tremolo Solo category at the 2009 World Harmonica Festival
- Triple crown winner (Solo, Duo, Ensemble) at the 2008 Asia-Pacific Harmonica Festival
